I have made a career out of entertaining and uplifting children, it is truly my calling. When Covid-19 (Coronavirus) hit, and the world went into lockdown mode, my first concern was for the children. It is a pretty scary and confusing time for us, let alone our children. So with children in need of uplifting entertainment now more than ever, I proudly put on a new hat, that of a Virtual Birthday Magician.
For over 20 years I have been a full-time, professional, children’s magician in the Greater Toronto Area. I have been blessed to perform for thousands of families, and voted Toronto’s “Best Children’s Entertainer” for the past 8 consecutive years. All this to say, if I have the pleasure of performing for your family, they are sure to have a great time.
Performing online offers many unique opportunities, but also some challenges. Never being one to back down from a challenge, I have retooled my performance to specifically play to an online audience. Where normally, in a live performance setting I could interact directly with my audience, I had to come up with innovative ways to create just as compelling an experience for children virtually.
Well, I’m happy to report that my new virtual birthday party magic show can not only engage and entertain your little guests, the screen in front of them begins to disappear, as they lose themselves in the experience. It’s really a joy to watch my audiences participating, laughing, and carrying on just as if they were there in person.
Another of the unique opportunities of being a virtual birthday magician, and offering virtual magic shows and virtual magic classes, is that your guests can log in and attend from anywhere in the world. That’s right, you can just as easily invite your child’s friends from school, as you can their cousins from overseas, and their grandparents in Florida. For most of my career I have performed within Southwestern Ontario, and in the last week I have performed in New York, California and Alberta. Technology is an amazing thing, just make sure to account for time zones.
In addition to being a virtual birthday magician, I offer three other exciting children’s programs which include a virtual magic class, virtual balloon sculpting class, and even The Magic In You, a unique virtual children’s empowerment program. So as you can see, whether you’re planning a virtual birthday party, virtual graduation party, virtual holiday party, virtual family reunion, or just a virtual play date for your children, we can work together to find the perfect magical entertainment for your next virtual gathering.
