Our children grow up so quickly that we are only left with memories of their milestones and specials occasions. My name is Scott Dietrich, and I have dedicated my 20+ year career to helping families host such epically fun birthday parties, their stories are passed along like family folklore.
The secret is simple, make the children the stars. All throughout my 35 minute, physically distanced birthday party magic show your little guests are making magic happen. Whether it’s multiplying Angry Birds, predicting the right card, or letting me know about the mischief my rascally Rabbit often gets into, they are laughing and participating throughout.
As your Birthday Magician Toronto, I even take the opportunity to teach your party guests how to perform a couple of, easy to do, yet jaw dropping magic tricks. Watch as their smiles and confidence grow. To watch magic is super fun, but to be able to perform it with your own two hands is super empowering for kids.
Special attention is paid to the birthday child, who, as you may or may not be aware, has special magical abilities on their birthday. They participate in several magic tricks throughout the magic show, but their birthday magic is ultimately harnessed when they magically produce my live bunny, Sir Walken!
Because of the extremely interactive nature of my magic performances, each show is like a snowflake, in that no two ever end up exactly the same. And even though, keeping safety in mind, all of the participation is done from the comfort of their seats, it’s like watching a concert from the front row; hardly a passive experience.
If you want to keep the magical fun going, I offer two different, 15 minute magical add-ons:
1) Balloon Animals – This option is fun for all ages, and with a repertoire of over 25 different balloon animals and party hats, each child is sculpted a balloon of their choosing. Receiving their own balloon is entertaining to watch, fun to play with, and a souvenir to take home.
2) Mini Magic Lesson – For the aspiring wizards out there, this a great opportunity to learn right from a real magician. I teach your guests a number of amazing magic tricks using everyday items. This empowers them to perform magic anywhere, anytime.
I judge the success of each performance based on the smiles, laughter and wonder experienced by my audience–your guests. As a birthday magician serving Toronto and the GTA, I treat each performance as if it was the first time that child had ever seen a live magic show (which is often the case). Specializing in children’s birthday entertainment, this is both an honor and a responsibility I take very seriously, so I give each performance 110%.
