A magic class for children that teaches perseverance, and boosts children’s self-confidence!

You might think that when I show up at your child’s birthday party, day camp, or school to present my 40 minute magic class, that learning magic is my main objective. Although your children will learn a lot of amazing sleight of hand illusions, teaching magic is merely my vehicle for empowering kids.

Magic is a great metaphor when you think about it. Only a few minutes after witnessing the impossible, with a little coaching, your children are then able to accomplish what they deemed impossible only moments before. This is a moment, as parents or teachers, that you won’t want to miss. To watch not only their smiles grow, but their confidence and sense of possibility.

I get so much joy through inspiring kids that I wrote a children’s book called “I Can and I Did!”. It was inspired through years of teaching magic to children. Nearly every class I would have a student announce “I can’t do this” at which point I’d promptly stop the class. I would explain that there are two bad words in my class “Can’t” and “Never”. The problem is that can’t and never mean forever, and that I don’t believe that they will never be able to do the trick, just that it might take some persistence, and maybe a little help, and that’s okay. And with a little assistance and persistence I am proud to say that every student I have ever taught was eventually able to accomplish magical results.

As for magic supplies, I will provide everything your students require. I specifically try to teach magic that uses everyday items such as pencils, elastics, crayons, etc. The reason is so that your children will be empowered to perform magic anywhere, anytime, and not be reliant on specific “magic props”.

So, if you want your children or students to not only have a great time, learn a lot of magic, and bolster their self-esteem, than lets work together, and make your next children’s party both empowering and fun-tastic!
